Здравствуйте Товарищи! Замечательный сайт!
Есть небольшая проблема - никак не могу приобрести CWG2.. не подскажите, можно ли скачать откуда-нибудь полную игру?

Да это лечиться. Во первых, проставлением адресов в .ini файле (находиться в корневом каталоге CWG). А так же устеновкой патча до версии 1.04. Его можно скачать здесь: http://cwg2enhanced.com/page5.html (official 1998 patch to upgrade CWG2 to ver 1.04 cw29514h.zip)
Что из этих двух средств поможет, не знаю. Мне самому переодически приходилось сталкиваться с этой проблемой. Каждый раз разрешить ее удавалось успешно, но точных рекомендаций не помню.

После установки вашего мода игра начинает просить оригинальный СД, которого естественно не имеется.
Это лечится.

Hello!
Functions the train waggons very simplis - to block pass to armies. I assumed still possibility to be enriched to the opponent attacking them. But it works whether or not to check up could not yet.
Others (Austrian, French) battles to make here it is impossible - AI does not know bases of linear tactics 18 C at all. And the French and Indian War to try would be very interesting, but I dont have exact datas of armies.

Rick, I meant the "NO cd patch" that is available on certain CWG fansites. With this non official patch you can play CWG without the cd. It works for me. But not with the new SYW files. If you don't use the "no cd files" anyway there should be no problem for you. For the rest you have understand me right. If you have further questions, please ask. Good luck!

A question to luter of who ever may know: What are the train waggons for? What is their function?

Trenck; I'm going to try it. Just in case I misunderstood, I believe you suggested I should: (1) re-install the game (I have to do this from the cd I have); (2) install the game company's patch; and (3) add the new SYW files. However, I'm confused about your comment, "Don't use any cd files." I apologize for being so dumb, but if I re-install the game, the cd files will automatically be installed. Can you expand on it.

GREAT!!! Very good work this SYW conversion of CWG2! I have found only a few mistakes (Prussian leaders and hussars at Gross-Jaegersdorf equipped with cannons). I hope for more battles (also for Austrian, French and British armies oder settled in the French and Indian War), and off course for the first campaign.

To Rick: Try a complete new installation of CWG2, then patch the game, and at last put the new files in it. Don't use any no cd files. That worked for me.
